Lawton Avenue, Rockridge
Design Challenge
Over the decades, this craftsman cottage had experienced a patchwork of awkward remodels, including a wall covered with 12 x 12 carpet samples of various shapes and sizes. The new owners wanted preserve the shingled cottage exterior that integrated harmoniously with the leafy tree-lined neighborhood but expand the interior with more rooms and a more welcoming, clean-lined interior.

Solution
