Design Challenge
The challenge with the kitchen remodel of this historic foursquare, colonial house was to preserve the formal spaces and original style but give it a fresh, modern look. The owners were particularly interested in having a well-designed and open kitchen as cooking and entertaining is their passion.
Solution
Careful consideration was given to the circulation and flow of the home, especially in the kitchen. Every detail such as where they would stand while cooking and how could they prep food while staying connected to the guests in the family room was thoroughly thought-out and designed. The integration of modern materials and fixtures into the original design makes the kitchen feel both modern and classical American foursquare.

I love our house more and more every single day. I literally walk through the house and say out loud (to no one but me - and maybe my dogs ) - "House, I love you." I cant thank you enough for your help and vision with the remodel.Jamie, Homeowner
